I honestly don't have words...

Idk… these are good shooters. I could see Toure’s percentage dipping as he hits the freshman wall, but the rest are good shooters. JJ taking and hitting them is such a bonus too.

Heise, Lipsey, Milan, and occasionally JJ were already there but the 'concerns' were if they'd be able to hit threes. It was baffling.

Batemon and Toure being capable is huge bonus.

Maybe the single best performance is school history, depending on how good Purdue ends up being.

Remember the meltdown when we missed on Cluff and had to "settle" for Buchanon? Wow.
A buddy of mine who is not a Cyclone fan texted me to say he doesn’t consider a Purdue loss an upset ever. Fair.

I don't know - to me what we did to Houston still tops that. Yeah, road game vs neutral court... but that Houston team would have run circles around this Purdue team... and that was when Houston's players finally understood what Sampson was saying when he warned them they didn't want any of ISU in KC.

I don’t expect them to shoot 45-55% as a team every game, but I think this could be an +efficient 3PT team. Somewhere in the 37-40% range as a team, which is great.

Wasn't Houston pretty injured in that one? Was still great but I know they at least had issues in the tourney.

I said this in the game thread, but this team plays really hard, but also effortlessly. It doesn't seem like a slog like some other teams have been. There's nothing wrong with the slog when it is winning, but boy is it fun to watch the entire team just kind of glide out there. Coincidently this is also how Tamin was playing early the year before the injury. The lose of that ease of play for him really bummed me out since we just hadn't seen that before from. I was very pleasantly surprised that he looked as smooth as he did today.
That's a really good point.

That team would have given our elite 8 team win over UCLA a game. First time I can say that
I 100% agree with this. Was there in person for that UCLA game. That Larry team made any team earn its buckets. TJ coaches the same way. An opposing team has to earn has to earn every point, and that is exhausting for the vast majority of teams out there

My wife and I were there too. Oh, what a night! This team would definitely give that team a run for their money. Hell, this team is better IMO.

I would expect Iowa to play as slow as possible. And for us to to grind them down. Iowa is the same, they can't matchup
Well come Thursday we'll see if Stirtz is the best point guard in the state like media likes to claim. Personally I hope Tamin and Toure beat him like a rented mule.

McCollum is amazing, blah, blah, blah TJ is the best coach in this entire state since he came back.

I hope we bury the Hawks so bad their crappy fan base is leaving Hilton with 5 minutes left in the game.
