I hate bye weeks this year

I am hating bye weeks this year. I understand the schedule is the schedule, but so far out of bye weeks we look more like the team that played game 1. Usually the second week of the 3 game pod is better and then the third week is standard.

My concern, though I am sure the players want a week to recover and maybe we get some injured guys back, like the OL, is maybe not playing a game causes our timing and our reads to be off and we will not play to the level needed to defeat KSU.

I truly hope I am wrong, but it does not feel great to me.

Does anyone have any updates or info about the possible return of injured players? Is anyone known to be close?

I disagree, this is a great time for a bye week right before a huge game and after a pretty poor performance.

Can't start like that against KSU and Texas.

The good news is the second half had a lot to be happy with and build off of.

Traditionally we do suck coming off a bye week. It's usually the offense not executing and looking lost. And the play calling. But I have a feeling it will be different this time.

Hopefully Milton will return for KState. The WRs are lacking in speed and explosiveness.

I guess I was mostly referring to the offense. Timing seems off after the bye week. The OL seems to have more penalties after the bye week. My fear is what we saw the second half in terms of offense will be lost by not playing a game, not continuing that flow. I hope Milton is back. Not sure about any OL injuries that have happened. Any chance we will get anyone back on OL? Our pass protection has not been great. I think KSU will attack that.
