How many have ever been contacted for a poll?

As the election comes to us here in a few days now and you see all these polls mainly done by the media outlets made me curious regardless of who you’re voting for who here has ever been contacted by any polls in the current or past elections? Last presidential election obviously it election some were taken by surprise by the difference in what polls showed versus what actually voting was. And I keep seeing this nexstar one that who tv shows here in central Iowa and obviously that’s the company that owns them and many other tv stations . So how do you know how close those are even because they could show bias..... The media seems to support democratics vs republicans. So who here has ever been apart of any polls?

I wouldn’t know. I don’t answer phone calls of numbers I don’t recognize this time of year (or ever, really).

First, media doesn't support democrats vs. republicans for the most part. Second, the Fox News polls tend to have better support for Democrats so figure that out.

I’m 41 and been a registered republican for the last 8 years and I’ve never been. I’ve asked a handful people I talk to on a regular basis and neither have any of them. And they all are from both parties.

I did one time but the questions were ver leading and I ended up hanging up on the person and told them to just ask straight up questions

No on polls...we simply don't answer the phone for numbers we don't recognize.

Now don't get me going on the number of single page candidate flyers that we get every flipping day...the over/under is 5.

I get 4-5 calls a day but I don't answer them, so who knows. If I don't recognize the number, I don't answer anymore. If a person needs to talk to me they will call again or text.
