How long has it been?

If we hadn’t beat Iowa straight up in wrestling in 20+ years that takes us back to the time withers that would be highly improbable.

Not surprised to see others above confirm this is a first

Has Iowa ever done it, or is this the first time?
I dont know about all time, as in before the official CyHawk stareted But this is what I found, since it started. Someone may have the full history, since WBB started would be about 30 years prior to the official CyHawk.

Us not winning wrestling for 20 years hurt us a lot in the series.

So we have only played those 4 all together since wbb started in the early 70s. If I figure it out I will update. But this is since the official CyHawk started in 2004: They have done it 4 times.

Edit: From my research since WBB started playing them in '75 this year is the first year we beat them in the Big4. Prior to that we didnt play them in most sports from the 1930s-70s, at least most years.

Edit2: we beat them in FB, MBB, WR, in 34-35 too, there are several we played them in 1 or 2 of those sports but not all 3 in the early days, then the big break in most sports for 40 years.

Im not going to research if Iowa won them before the CyHawk officially started.

Yeah the combo of that wrestling streak and the 15 year football streak covers MOST of the years since WBB was even a sport.

I'm not going to post it to give them pub but KCRG's 'article' about the game was super short and had to get the last dig in there to mention the series record (48-31) in their last sentence.

Yeah, we all remember Iowa basketball from the early 1900's.

Yeah, for the balance of most of our lives, the primary explanation for this never happening before has had one main explanation: wrestling

Now Paul Harvey’s rest of the story. When the old lady gets to the afterlife, her husband meets and and proceeds to beat her ass because she had an 8 figure necklace while he worked 60 hour weeks to barely provide for his family that led him to an early grave.
Don't forget: only to throw said necklace into the ocean.

I like the recent trend.

This movie propelled romance into a whole generation of cheaters. Rose is actually the villain in that story
