Home DIY

Also, I did all the work to finish a basement in one house and flipped my next house. After that, I got rid of most of my drywall tools. Didn't want to do anymore of that.

After helping a family friend do drywall in our basement, I can understand this. Our friend did most of the work, but we still did enough to tell me I don't want to do that again. I'll hire it done next time.

I can do most fixes around the house. I do youtube stuff for my cars replacing a part is pretty easy if you have the tools. Drywall and plumbing is easy. I have buddies who can help with wiring, and fixing decks, and concrete work. Small concrete jobs are fairly easy just takes time. Piss on roofing and siding.

Semi off-topic tip; my lumber manager just said that he expects lumber prices to bottom out in a week or two and then soften again in 6 months. May be as good of time as any to buy some lumber for your DIY projects. I have zero experience or knowledge to know if this is correct.
