The reality is that there are some ISU fans who are more worried about attacking the Hawks than supporting their own team and school. I have no love for Hawk fans but I will not go out of my way to dig up some dirt on them.

As for this site, put the Hawks on ignore and don't bait them. If you give a mouse a cookie...

Most the Hawk fans on here are lurkers. Heck...I lurk on their boards, but have only posted a couple times there. Gotta go somewhere for info and it is good to be up to speed on both programs so you can talk intelligently about rival subjects.

There are probably only 3-5 regular posters on here who are Hawk fans. If you go to the Hawk boards, there are probably 3-5 Cyclone fans who regularly post there as well.

Goes both ways and I have no problem with it.

Fair enough-I can understand the frustration there.

Personally, I could, for the most part, care less who posts here but when it becomes a pissing match with the hawk fans here, it gets old and fast. I didn't join this forum to have a bunch of hawk nutswingers voice their opinion about CYCLONE nation.

In all seriousness, I have wondered this as well. Why are there so many Sqwak fans that feel they have to post on a Cyclone board? It would be interesting to go to any other teams boards and see how many people from other schools continuously post there. But then again, I am a Cyclone fan, so I why would I go to another board????

Actually my neighbor told me that hawk fans are on here to remind us...aka clone fans...

Let me put it this way - if there were NEVER a mention of the Hawkeyes on this site again, I would never post again. The only reason I come here is because Iowa is such a hot topic most of the time. Rarely does a day go by when Iowa isn't mentioned on cyclonefanatic. Stop mentioning Iowa (and more specifically, stop making inaccurate claims about the hawks) and the Iowa posters will cease to exist. As a famous movie once said - "if you build it, they will come" :wink:
