Hey Chris Williams.....previous commits?

If they wish to transfer then so be it. Their loyalty was to CPR and not to ISU. The thing I think that they fail to understand is that CPR still loves ISU and ISU still loves CPR. But CPR failed to get wins on the football field so he had to be fired.

Transferring out because they are angry at CPR being fired is a sign of immaturity IMO. It is a knee jerk reaction to something which was done, but not out of spite. Iowa State paid CPR $4.5 million in severance pay. CPR was publicly acknowledged at the press conference announcing the new coach for his service and job he had done for Iowa State the last 7 years.

To be perfectly honest, I think CPR would be greatly disappointed in these young people for not staying at Iowa State and giving the new coaching staff a chance. And for not being a "loyal son forever true".

Hire CPR as a special consultant to walk the halls?:radar::jimlad:

Baker Mayfield lost a Big 12 eligible year when he transferred. His walk on status at both schools made him go to court to try and regain it but was denied.
I thought he was good in '13 but didn't see him as a Heisman caliber player in his next "playing" year, and he's gone on to do that.
I get where you are coming from Adam, but I still think cases like this will happen.

Mayfield was not even on scholarship. And it wasn't a coaching change. That was a clash with the existing coach. If Matt Campbell tells guys that have started that he is pulling their scholarships, then a transfer is warranted. Kingsbury essentially told his starting QB Mayfield that he was not going to get a scholarship. That was ridiculous. The situations are not nearly the same.

Ah there it is. A guy has a kid before you think he should so he makes dumb decisions. Good to see we got Rush Limbaugh to join the website.
Wow, would you call a kid with no job or college degree fathering a child a good decision? One doesn't need to be extremely right wing to know that the lack of a father in a childs life is a huge issue. But carry on with your line of thought. You do know more than everyone else on here about anything football....

I don't judge someone's decision making skills on when they happen to have a kid.
