Help with car/house insurance

ours also went up but it was due to hurricanes and other large events we can't control. my bet is most companies with wide presence are going up.
Not necessarily the case. Insurance premium increases still need to be approved at the state level by the Iowa Insurance Division/Commissioner. This protects the consumer from having their premium jacked up to help off set a large expensive event such as Hurricane Matthew.

We do home and renters there, and our mortgage back in the day.
Since you've served, you're exactly who they're looking for, and not in the normal predatory sort of way soldiers experience.

So, they aren't like one of the auto dealerships or pawn shops sitting 50 feet outside of every single active duty installation's gates?

I should really look into USAA. The auto quote they gave me back in the day when i was on active duty was crazy high but then I found out that after you get a little older their rates drop like a rock.

This is every army base's reality. It's amazing.
Also spotters in malls looking for young faces with short haircuts that just happen to have official allotment forms ready for your convenience.
Yep! I'm well aware.:) Any malls near a training base are full of leaches. Don't even get me started on the car dealerships! What those guys do to young naive Sailors, Airmen, Soldiers, and Marines should be illegal! I know guys that got suckered in to 20% auto loans!

Supposed to be satire, but we all know better on this one:

Also, the ATM fees on bases were outrageous, just because they knew they had you.

They rip off young people period because they are inexperienced. Not just soldiers.

yep you get why I was like well Im finished with State Farm. Everything was always going up in price even after I put a higher deductible ect. Glad I started looking around to see how much can be saved.
