I need some help in trying to find a guitar builder. My uncle died in October 2009 and left a few cigar boxes in my possession. I'm planning to use one of the boxes as well as a few keep sakes to build a cigar box guitar as a present for my Mother. I've built a cigar box guitar myself in the past, but I would like a professional's help with this to make a high quality product. I could try to build it myself, but I need to get this right and only get one shot at it.
Basically, I need a local guitar builder or someone who is extremely good at wood working and has some experience with cigar box guitars. I've looked around on the internet and I've only been able to find guitar dealers (Guitar Center). If anyone knows anyone or a business who could help me with this project, please let me know.
