Headstone with hidden message raises concerns

Headstone has a hidden message of Eff Off. I don't have an issue with it.

"Forever in our hearts, until we meet again, cherished memories, known as our brother, father, papa, uncle, friend, and cousin," said Lindsay Owens, daughter of the late Steven Owens.

Did they really blur out the first letters of line 2-4? Seriously?

We had a guy we rented some ground from who we called the “F-man”. Every other word he said was the f word. He was super nice guy if you could take all the F-bombs he dropped. RIP F-Man!

I'm guessing the person who died had a sense of humor. Hopefully the hidden message wasn't directed at family and friends.

Edit: just now read the story. Cemetery staff needs to let this go.

My question is/was, the message from the family directed at the deceased, or planned by the deceased directed at anyone who reads it?

edit: I did not read or watch the story

If they would not have done a news story about it, nobody would have even realized it. Just shut up and let the guy have his stone.
People are talking about it, so their news story worked.

Someone getting upset about this is like getting upset about an obituary that paints the deceased as the character they were remembered as.

This is a small neighborhood cemetery where most of those buried there were friends and family

My small neighborhood cemetery had to start limiting burials because people with no association were wanting plots because there was no cost.

Somewhere there is a couple of obits about a dude down south one was by his family one was by his mistress it was quite the tale of two stories.

Is this **** really on the news in Iowa? wtf. Just end local news already except for the weather.
Unfortunately almost all news shows including, local, national and international are nothing other then just another entertainment show. They are there to sell advertising for profit. They have to. I get it. Whatever it takes to get viewership. Since politics are in everything including sports and weather, I just consider the source, roll my eyes, and move on if I find myself watching/listening. Journalists (laughable in most cases) are just people pushing they’re political biases on the viewers no matter whatever side your on.
