IDK. It was a bonding experience that we will never forget. Her friends were impressed and she thought it was incredible that I spent the money. Can’t lose investment - not like all the Dogecoin I own.

Back in the day of conformation, our entire youth team had Pony football shoes. Those were killer.

PUMA? Come on Tyrese you are better than that, you didn't need to settle.
Nah, in the basketball/sneaker world, PUMA is a good move. They are actively trying to make moves with the younger athletes. I would have preferred New Balance, but PUMA is not a bad spot.

I'm not sure how Puma started their downward trend in the US but they're still huge internationally. They are big in motorsport (exclusive in Formula 1) and big in soccer. I can see them making a bigger push to get back to a top option in the US.

New Balance HAHA ok

Anything not Nike is irrelevant
Nike is overflowing with mid talent. Devin Booker's signature shoe could have/should have been the next step forward for Nike...instead they dropped a AF1/Dunk/Kobe hybrid. Kobe's are still the shoe of choice by college and pro athletes, but outside of that, Nike has offered nothing new.

Puma on the other hand has been making strides to improve their products and brand image. New Balance even more so signing Ohtani, Kawhi Leonard, Cameron Brink, Tyrese Maxey. Scoff all you want, but you're only showing your age. ;)

I thought referencing New Balance as a good thing was the DEFINITION of showing your age?

NB makes very good running shoes and baseball cleats. There's probably more product lines, but those are just the ones I know personally.

As brought up before, Puma also makes good running shoes and is pretty popular for golf shoes. They are also the parent company of Cobra Golf. Tyrese will be getting his just fine out of this deal and isn't having to share attention with Nike's crowded space of lines.

Sticking with running or just daily wear shoes, give me Brooks, Asics, NB, Hoka over anything with a swoosh on it.
