Not that it is bad entertainment but with money shortages…this should be something Jamie considers eliminating or cutting way back. If people aren’t entertained by the game itself they will stop coming. Never heard anyone say that is the reason they go to games.ISU does a pretty good job when they bring in halftime entertainment. Here’s one I’d love to see.

But it is always a pleasant surprise when they have good halftime shows. Just a part of the package. Not that it is bad entertainment but with money shortages…this should be something Jamie considers eliminating or cutting way back. I don’t know the budget for half time acts but I believe Red Panda makes around $5k and often times double dips for the women’s weekend games, so it really is just a drop in the bucket compared to a lot of other costs and outside of the big games/ weekends it’s usually, drumline and special Olympics cheer or basketball and I’m sure those are next to zero cost. Not that it is bad entertainment but with money shortages…this should be something Jamie considers eliminating or cutting way back. I'll politely disagree with you, any opposing teams venue I've been to has something at halftime. Just be grateful we don't have a hypeperson/DJ. Went down to UT the last yr they were in conference. Nice enough facility but the continous rambling of the DJ/hypeman sucked big time IMO. Also get rid of Jackie S at Jack Trice. Not that it is bad entertainment but with money shortages…this should be something Jamie considers eliminating or cutting way back. Holy cow, that was easily the worst halftime show EVER. So close to getting booed off the court. Pep band ridiculed him the rest of the game. I wrote to some external relations person in the AD about that disaster. He never responded.Just as long as they never bring that awful TikTok guy on the drums that they had a few years ago back. That one set the bar pretty low for halftime shows we've had.
Win a car from ( crowd replies)BENSON MOTORS! Riding in on the unicycle was great!Bring back shoot five for five with Ed Ganier. I hope Ed is still around.View attachment 154602
I was sitting next to my friend's HS son that knew who the guy was from TikTok and even he thought it was horrible so it wasn't a generational thing whether you liked the performance or not. It was the most awkward haltime performance I have ever seen in Hilton. Whatever they paid him just pay the ISU drumline to perform instead, they are way more entertaining and I am sure the music department would put that money to better use than some lame social media fadHoly cow, that was easily the worst halftime show EVER. You don’t want to watch the old guy fall 30 feet off of some chairs?Yeah just do dogs every time.
Races. Catchin' frisbees. Zoomies. Whatever really.
I need something low-stress for halftime.
Either Red Panda or the Fargo Morehead tumbling team are always solid. Then throw in ISU drum line. You don’t want to watch the old guy fall 30 feet off of some chairs?
Yeah…Red Panda was fantastic. Dogs always make their owners look good.Either Red Panda or the Fargo Morehead tumbling team are always solid. Then throw in ISU drum line.
