Hakeem Butler Offered

Trust me, I'm a blast. Funny how me calling out posters who are constantly critical and negative means I'm the grouch.

Looks like a good athlete and great edge blocker. I could see him being a possession/red zone jump ball type of guy or even an H-back type depending on how his body develops in the S&C program. You never know what could happen in 18 months of training table and weight work. He could turn into a mean stretch the middle TE for us.

Its not ribsnwhiskey's sense of humor that is at issue....I imagine he's a real riot when something witty or humorous actually occurs. But the pathetic drumbeat of criticizing even positive developments within our football program is getting very old...and it really isn't funny anymore. Worse...its just boring and pointless...and hurtful to a program that many of us have loved for decades. And if you find THAT funny, its your own sense of humor that needs to be examined.

Sorry if posted, didn't see it.

From looking at comments, 6'7" WR, I assume would be a candidate to grow into an athletic TE.

Probably been posted already but according to an article, his mom passed away of cancer and he moved to Texas from Maryland and was raised with his first cousins, the Harrison twins that play for Kentucky. Look under "Harrison twins deal with tragedy.."

Maybe if they put Butler, Lazard, and Montgomery out on the field it could help Richardson's accuracy since he could just throw it up as he would have two 6'5" receivers and a 6'7".

Congratulations Hakeem! Welcome to the Cyclone Family and the best fans in the world!

Former clone commit, never enrolled, James Carpenteron the list. Ended up going to bans instead after juco.

Wingspan? Is he a rim-protector?

Next basketball walk on from the football team? Still waiting to see Hogue in shoulder pads

Welcome, Hakeem Butler! Excited you are a Cyclone!

Don't know anything about his team - other WRs, how much they threw vs run, wins/losses, etc, but his video showed a physical nature to his play. You can be big, but if you are not willing to use your size to your advantage then you lose effectiveness as a player. HB displayed physical play in his highlights, that's for sure.
