I just wanted to say that you, Chris, did an awesome job with all the coverage the past couple of days. It is nice for us fanatics to have somewhere online to go to find timely and accurate information. Keep up the good work

Also, it was nice to see you get a shout-out from John Walters tonight as his source that Hamilton is considering a return. CF is moving up in the world!!!!!!

You also did a good job at getting some face time on tv!
Thanks for the work! This is, by far, the best/quickest source for any ISU athletic event information!

I will echo others sentiments!

Chris anyway you could post how many times the website was accessed? I figure you have some kind of google analytics on here or something that will make it easy.

You gotta love the reliable, quick, and abundant information this site provides.
Oh, and I guess it all being free is alright too.

As one of the owners of this site, I want to thank you guys for recognizing the work Chris has put in over the last three days and also give a HUGE THANKS to CW for his work since Sunday on all that has been happening.

For someone that came off his bachelor party on Saturday night, we couldn't have asked for more, but the reason he does it is for all you fanatics who are so loyal to this site an have determined that that this is THE place for to talk ISU sports!!

Just as an FYI, we are approaching 2,500,000 page views in the last three days which blows out of the water any traffic this (or I think any) ISU related site has ever seen. And we owe that to Chris and all you loyal Cyclones who keep coming here for your info.

I for one am sitting here after a round of golf and just thinking of how kick butt the future of ISU athletics might be with Rhoads, Hoiberg, Fennelly and Jackson.

GREAT TIME TO BE A CYCLONE!!!

Definitely appreciate all the work, and it was entertaining seeing you in the background during the Gary T. interviews. :)

I know you guys or the last ownership liked to keep a tight lid on some of these numbers, but can you provide how many current members we have and a record number of members we've had online at one time?

CycloneFanatic - Members List

According to this there are 9277 members, but that doesnt include those who are 'awaiting validation', which i think many early users to the site are (i was listed in that group until a month or so ago (could see it in my cpanel) and then i went and fixed that)

So id wager over 10,000 at least.

Chris can answer better than me, but I think we have about 10,000 current members and I have no idea on the number online at one time. I checked yesterday at one point and we had 1,300 online. But I have no idea if that is near our high point. The problem is that is not all "members" of CF.

If you can tell me how to get the "lurkers" off the fence to sign up I will give you 1,000,000,000 credits!!:notworthy:

Coupons.

(I'm sure Chris will get the reference)

On a more serious note, you could always put some of the more 'breaking' news that Chris has been known to gather through his sources (for instance, stuff that might be known as 'confidential' on CR), and put it in a forum that, while the thread title can be seen on the front page, the user must be logged in to read all the details.

Thanks for everything you have done, Chris! I bet you can go home now and get some good night sleep.....

I was thinking the same thing! Thank you so much Chris for keeping everyone informed about everything from the point that Omaha news station said McDermott was leaving all the way to today when Fred Hoiberg was officially announced as our new coach. We know how much time you put into that last few days and really appreciate it! :notworthy:

Not a bad idea and we will consider that... I mean who doesn't need more CW....
