Overall: A+ obviously.

I see TJs plan as recruiting killer freshman, getting 2 years out of them and if they blow up, let them "Milan" out of the program or go to the NBA. There's always the chance we somehow retain them, but with salaries rising faster than a can of Busch Light at a ISU tailgate, I don't see that happening. The magic ingredient—transfers.

Super-smart plan by coach if you ask me.

We're going to have so much fun balling in the Big12 and into the foreseeable future. Can't wait.

A+. Head of the class.

The plan seems to be to try and mostly target freshman wings and big guards who can switch and defend, who have the attitude and work ethic to succeed here, and who have the upside to explode. I think Pleta and DRK are somewhat outliers in the typical recruiting plan.

Then fill in with xfer bigs and guards as needed who fit the culture and want a chance to show out in the premier MBB conference.

I overall like the strategy of “get whoever you want” that he’s had the last few years. It seems to be pretty effective

It's the only way to go when nowadays everyone shuffles the deck every offseason.

It seems he gets 2 of the top 5 players in Wisconsin, every year. Which has been a good strategy.
Its crazy how much talents comes out of Wisconsin and Minnesota on a yearly basis, ISU has tapped into that pipeline, much like Orr did with Michigan. TJ just needs to keep winning and keep it going, the success the kids have had or hopefully will have, makes it easier to recruit the next batch of them.
