Goals for next year?

7 or 8 wins.

That would be an actual 'norm' vs. a schedule that many used to use as an excuse for bad seasons so just keep it rolling as being decent.

Any more wins is icing.

Schematically a better o line.

Texas and Iowa are the two teams really itching to be scratched off the list and both are at JTS. Texas even on a possibly cold mid November day. The Texas game this year you could argue was our least competitive game under Campbell in many ways so there's a revenge factor.

If we go 3-0 non-conf that first B12 game @ MurderRape U is going to be a huge road win we need to get. 4-0 start coming off the seasons we've had would have a very optimistic feel.

@WVU and @OU stand out as the games that could turn a great season into an all time great season.

It is interesting because as we get better the goals get a lot hard to achieve. For example, most years we'd want to get to a better bowl game. But next year in order to do that we'd have to get to a New Year's Six. While I know that will be the team's and coaches' goal, I'm certainly not pinning a successful season on that. (And I'd take the Alamo Bowl again!)

And honestly, fans making up goals for the team is kind of stupid. We are fans. Not players or coaches.

My hopes for the team would be to continue to maintain momentum as a program and not take a step back.

Also, it's pretty fun to see goals on here that were accomplished this year. Take care of business at home? Only 1 loss. Winning conference record? 6-3.

I'd love to see get Iowa and Texas. For whatever reason, Campbell has struggled a bit in game planning for those teams.

I meant go undefeated at home. So no, that wasn't accomplished.

Well, fine. But I consider 6-1 taking care of business.

Either way, it's cool that the only improvements that can be made would make an amazing season.
