Go Pack Go

Yikes. I guess I'm just happy he isn't a key player on the team and that he didn't do something worse. I'm looking at you Ray Rice.

Ruben Randle of the Cowboys was also arrested for having weed on him as well today. Nowhere near the amount Guion had on him though.

Maybe I'm missing something...why was he charged with felony possession of a firearm if it's registered in his name? Was it laying on the seat or something?

Didn't read the whole article, but I'm thinking because he was in possession of a firearm while committing a felony? Meaning, because he had that much weed, it's a felony...and because he had a gun while committing that felony, that's also a crime.

The big problem I have with all of this is was he arrested in Canada?

What's with the 357 gram to describe the weight?

I assume it's because they assume most Americans are dumb and to them 357 sounds like a lot. As opposed to the fact that it's less than a pound and to say 12.5 ounces doesn't sound all that bad?

Obviously the guy was into some **** and 12.5 ounces is a lot, but it's not like the guy had millions of dollars of weed on him. I get tired of the media trying to hype things up more than they need to. We live in the US, how often do people use the metric system to describe anything here.

Reminds me, I need to stop and get 50 Liters of Petrol tonight on my way home.

Just out of curiosity how much is 12 oz of weed worth? I mean the 190,000 of cash seems like he is doing some dealing to me. The only thing he didn't get caught w/was the scale.

It's not worth 190K, I'll tell you that much. If it was 12 oz. I doubt it's even worth a 10th of that.

That's what my Packers get for having an ex-Viking on the team.

This guy isn't a true Packer.... he's a Viking. Good riddance.

According to his lawyer, the money was for helping out his family. Now I can think of better ways to get my family $190,000 than carrying a whole wad of cash. Of course if you transferred it to an account in their name the IRS is most likely going to want to get involved. Same with cash, IIRC any deposit over $10,000 needs to be reported.

Of course anytime the cops catch you they are going to throw as many charges at you as possible in hopes of getting something to stick.

About $3,600 street value. Depending on how conencted you are, this price might even be a little on the high side.
