With Dylan S maybe not returning and watchung what Oklahoma has been able to do with Stevenson all season would Iowa State be willing to go with a more traditional FB that can also catch the ball? Size wise Dan Sitchterman is a beast at 6'3 260 pounds. He is listed as a TE after coming in as a DE. Are they preparing to have him potentially play the F-Back and compete with Rus? I could also see Loving-Black in that roll. He excelled as a blocker in HS and looked to have good hands as well.

Loving-Black will not see the field at ISU again. He’s not with the team.

I'm excited to see what Hanika and Dean can do, both are 6'6. Hanika seems like more of a passing threat.

That would have been my only comment. Once someone leaves the team for good, they usually quietly disappear from the roster right away.

His twitter and Instagram indicates he is still on the team. Never know i guess.
 
Size and strength are vital. My kid played it at 6'2" and 280lbs his last year. They use that position as an extra lineman type. You put in the HB and two tight ends and you have 8 massive bodies to block.

The Des Moines mentioned him in an article 2 weeks ago, so maybe something happened between then and now, idk.

I’m not sure of the details, just what I had heard. He also wasn’t listed on any participation reports (ie didn’t play in any games) this year.
If you go to his Instagram, you’ll notice his most recent pictures are not from Iowa. His most recent pic had palm trees in the background....

They may experiment with a backup lineman at that spot like they did with Collin Olsen and Tongamoa in the past?

I think this kid has played F in the K-State and WVU games when we pulled the starters

He also played a good amount in the game Soehner sat out, WVU I think. Was getting reps even before the starters were pulled.
