I had to carry stacks of that crap back to my office halfway across campus from Durham, on a daily basis, rain or shine. I HATED those printouts!
My parents have a pencil sharpener in their house that makes pencils like a dart it is amazing. Best pencil sharpener I've ever used.

I used one of these because I could find the damn shutoff when I was still 95% asleep. Had to move it over to my dresser to force me out of bed.
PapaLew was not allowed to use his phone for an alarm because he played Clash of Clans and some of the clans he battled were on the opposite side of the world. Notifications all freaking night...
Gave my BIL (EE) one of these for Christmas years ago, only his read "in case of power outage":Come on, where all the engineer geeks of yesteryears?
I still use one that is over 30 years old. I want to see what time it is when I have to pee in the middle of the night without picking up my phone or tablet.
There might...MIGHT...be a few of these still floating around my parents' house...used for reminder notes and grocery lists.
I was just in the HS library last night (storm spotter training), and was rather taken aback at the lack of just books in general. My elementary school library probably had more books. #Old
I have two. One on each side of the bed. So I can see what time it is without even rolling over.
