Friday OT - The Big Cheese

A band from the 80s (one-album wonder, even though they made a few more), Men At Work, is mainly identifiable via the unique voice of lead singer Colin Hay.

Hard to believe no one mentioned Angus Young and AC/DC. There is no band without him.

Than we disagree completely. The Stripes was all Jack to me. Meg just sat there and drummed basic **** while he went crazy on guitar and keyboards.

This is the correct answer. Not only does Jack not need a bass player, he managed to pull off the genius that is the White Stripes with about 1/2 a drum player.

Most of Jack's work post WS is meh. I think Meg had way more influence than she is given credit for on the "genius" of the WS. Just looking at her drumming contributions doesn't explain why the WS were better than any of Jack's work post WS.
