Friday OT: Friday Confusings

If he had a colorectal issue, he might of needed it to clean up the damage. Might not of been a big train coming through, more like a runny egg, mudslide situation.
I've had runny egg, mudslide situations. Those are much easier to clean up afterward than a big compact log coming through ... if you make it to the bathroom in time. If it's more urgent and you aren't quite as quick as you needed to be, then all bets are off on the cleanup time or amount of paper needed, but I can't imagine one of those situations happening at least three times a day for the two years he worked there.

People that hang out in the left lane on the interstate going around 60 and never get back into the right lane or people that hang out in the left lane all the time.
True story. More or less the worst example of this behavior that I experienced leaving DSM on my way home from work on I35 north bound one Friday (there are plenty of other examples as that stretch is GD terrible for this).

Pass the last Ankeny exit and get up to highway speed (80 mph seems to work well when traffic allows). Come upon some traffic around the Elkhart exit and slow down figuring there was a semi or two trying to pass on the left side. They get over relatively quick but traffic is still slow in the left lane, and by slow, I am talking 65 mph. People start sliding over to the right lane and speeding up to pass. I finally come upon the slow poke in the left lane and it is some guy in a new Corvette putzing along. After some choice words, I pass him on the right and shortly after this he finally slides over and gets off at the Huxley exit.

Dude needed to get his man card pulled and his a$$ kicked right then and there.

Camping in the left lane on the interstate.

I go into my office once a week, and it's the same drive down I-35 every week. A line of seven cars, basically bumper to bumper, in the left lane all trying to get around one car doing 68 in the right line at the same time. All the while the right lane is basically wide open except for the one said car.

Those who camp in the left lane are actually slowing up traffic more than the one car in the slow lane driving below the limit.
I recently took a different job and my commute does not involve the stretch of interstate between Ames and Des Moines and I swear my BP is down 10 points.

Can’t tell if it was caused by that stretch of road or the dumpster fire of a job that I was at………..probably a combination of both.

People that have no sense of space. Particularly people with strollers in a mall or really any public sidewalk area just taking up the whole width going slow. Bugs the hell out of me.

Semis or large vehicles that pull into your lane on a two lane road and there is no one behind you at all and it takes two miles for them to get up to the speed limit.
