Friday OT #3 - Obviously Cersei

I wish Lucas would have stuck to his guns that he was a Sith.

Sort of a homage to the big twist in Foundation and Empire if you are familiar.

She was almost disemboweled by an Achillobator a few minutes before that.

I think the manic terror is justified.

There's like 80 minutes of her annoying the crap out of me prior so I wish it were successful. :)

You need to learn the rules of horror movies.

The black guy dies. Sorry, Samuel L., but you know the rules.

The pretty blonde doesn't unless she takes her clothes off.

Ellie Sattler (and Bryce Dallas Howard's character, for that matter) didn't show enough skin.

You people nailed it with Meredith Grey. My wife watches that show and I will casually catch bits and pieces, and I swear the woman has been dead 8 different times. She's got to hold some kind of record as being the only person to survive a plane crash, workplace shooting, car accident, train derailment, falling out of a ski lift, having a regulator go out while scuba diving, bear attack, congestive heart failure, and a nasty bout of Covid. I honestly only think I've made up like 3 of these.

Don't forget the lawsuits and regulator issues that would have caused her to loose her liscense. I am sure that's been a plot line a couple times.

I am similar to you that I only catch bitts and pieces when my wife watches. But I am pretty sure she was being sued for something that would have caused her to loose her license to practice medicine.

I think I am posting this as a mom and a wife, which is why my perspective is different. But I always have trouble understanding why people crap on Skyler. For sure she is not as fun as Walter, but somebody had to hold **** together at home and make safe decisions for the kids as Walter became increasingly erratic. I also would have an issue if my previously mild-mannered husband of X years took up cooking meth and killing people to cover it up, leading to the death of my favorite (annoying) sister’s spouse.

She didn’t need to have sex with skeezy idiot Ted, but she wasn’t alone in acting out.
I'm late to the party but I'd add Jesse to the body count (siap). If they really wanted to use the last season to burn WW to the ground why not do it for real and take his wife and his best friend...? I always felt like they could've gone more Wendy Byrd with Skylar and an intense demise could've been interesting...

Dr. Smith in Lost In Space

Barney Fife in Andy Griffith Show

Dr. Smith is a good one, if a long ways back. He was constantly putting the CHILDREN in terrible danger, and/or selling them out to aliens. Lying to everyone all the time. One of the adults should have absolutely smothered him with a pillow.

Thanks again to @madguy30 for this topic!

What character or characters would you like to have seen killed off that weren't? This could be because you thought they were actually evil, or just annoying or whatever.

The entire cast of Titanic before the ship left for America

I also cheered for the tornado in Twister. The movie that made me dislike movies

Marie Schraeder, if we’re doing BB.

She was a kleptomaniac hypocritical ******* who judged everyone else while totally denying her criminal behavior. She was a terrible person who thought she was a saint.

I didn't have much of a problem with Skyler or Marie, but I was definitely ready for Walt Jr. to get hit by a bus.

I really, really hated Marie. She was married to a cop, and yet she just kept engaging in ridiculously obvious criminal behavior, and expecting him to clean up her messes. That's just horribly selfish, and Hank obviously already had enough on his plate.

In all seriousness, it's why JP missed the mark. It could have been Jawsesque or Close Encountersesque but instead it's a pretty standard monster movie with great CGI.

The first season Dr. Smith was evil, After that he was more a caricature of himself. Still put the kids (and everyone else) in danger but that was more due to being a selfish douche than an evil person.
