Friday OT #2 - Tattoos

I don't have any. I'm not for or against them. I kind of want one, but I don't know/have anything important enough to put on my skin.

I have 3 and don't regret it at all.
My tattoos mean nothing except that fact that I wanted them. So many people try to justify getting a tattoo so they force some "deep meaning" onto it. Like "Be Strong" tattooed on their wrist because "they've been through a lot"

I love them. I have 6. Three represent my kids and one for my wife (no name

I have the Metallica 4 M's star from the Load and Reload albums on my shoulder. I still like it and want to get another one. People say they are addictive, and its true. If I actually had money, I'm sure I would have several more.
The only tattoos I am against are GF / SO names and anything on the neck (unless its on the back of the neck)

I've seen a lot of tattoos that look pretty bad after 10 years of sun and skin stretching and contracting.

I have one, and desperately want it gone. It was impulsive and impetuous in my early 20s, and I cringe when I think about the fact that I'm going to be a 90-year-old with a saggy tattoo someday.
Overall, though, I think there are lots of good reasons to get them. Just not for me.

I have 4, the one I have that is visible always draws stupid attention from people trying to guess the meaning. Like cyclone_r_gr8 stated, they don't mean a thing. I just liked the stupid design.
I have one that I got when I was 18 (which was a looong time ago). My only regret is that I went to a tattoo 'artist' that sucks. I'd like to get a cover up but just haven't got around to it.
I don't have one, but I do like them for the most part. I'm not above judging somebody quickly because they have what I think is a stupid tattoo, though. Also, I think they only look really good on skinny people for some reason. I'm thinking about getting one. I have a friend who has the 4 horseman of the apocalypse tattooed on his arm -- it is awesome.
I got one when I was 18, and in the Navy. It's a cobra on my upper left arm. Probably older than most of you. I've considered getting it recolored as the yellows and reds are pretty much gone now, but most of the time I don't even know it's there.
