What tiny side characters/bit parts are your favorite in the movie world?

Here are just a few of mine:

- Ned Ryerson, Groundhog Day - he's so exceedingly annoying, and you go through this small run of emotions whenever Bill Murray runs into him. Sometimes you feel bad for him, sometimes you hate him, and in the end you're glad that there is a good resolution between the two of their daily dealing. It's fascinating how you can have strong emotions about a character who has maybe five minutes of air time.

- Captain Koons, Pulp Fiction - Christopher Walken in a flashback giving an ass watch to young Butch. Somehow it's poignant, hilarious, and disgusting all at the same time. (Speaking of Butch, Zed is also a pretty amazing small role who changes the whole storyline.)

- Jesus, Big Lebowski - obvious pick is obvious.

- Bill Murray, Zombieland - he may be the best part of a really funny movie. It's the part everyone instantly remembers.

- The Wolf, Pulp Fiction - sorry, I know it's another Pulp Fiction character. But he could be an entire movie and it would be freaking fascinating. He solves problems.

What have you got?

Immediately thought of Will Ferrell in Wedding Crashers.

That's a really, really good one. And really sort of launched his career, in addition with Mogatu from Zoolander.

EDIT - I totally read this as Old School, not Wedding Crashers.

I've been known to yell about meatloaf to my mother.

Fezzik and Vizzinni from Princess Bride.

Stan Lee's cameos.

Boris the Blade from Snatch.

In A Million Ways to Die in the West, Ryan Reynolds has a 2 second cameo where he gets shot without saying a word. Probably the best part of Seth MacFarland's love-fest with himself.

Naomi, the villainess from "The Spy Who Loved Me." Always, always, always loved her and the woman who played the character, Caroline Munro (she was also the female lead in Adam Ant's early 80s "Goody Two Shoes" video). It's all in the eyes.

I was in our office when this young guy came in to fill out an application. His last name was Ryerson. I asked him if he was any relation to Ned Ryerson, and he said no. My office manager had to turn away from him, so she wouldn't start laughing.

Well I posted these in the wrong OT thread, so might as well throw them here:

2 more although I don't think the 2nd is a bit character in a movie.

Half Baked: Both Bob Saget and then Steven Wright (guy on the couch, love his stand up stuff as well).

Clerks 2: Elias. I know he's probably not considered a bit performer in the movie, but he's great.

Stole these from a watchmojo video, but they are classic. Especially Matt Damon

#10. Bob Barker “Happy Gilmore” (1996)
#9. Matt Damon “EuroTrip” (2004)
