Fred Hoiberg Infiniti Voting

I haven't checked the voting % during the day today but it is exactly like it was the first thing this morning, seems strange that would be especially since the Michigan and Wichita State's percentage has dropped though still the 5% they were this morning. Maybe they just update the count at certain times of the day.

Honestly these obscure diseases probably need the help more than heart disease. In fact our gains in heart disease are almost exclusively responsible for our recent gains in life expectancy . I honestly would be fine if Painter won. That said I voted for Fred because he did the video and had put the time into this and hell I don't like losing to Purdue at anything.

It's too bad there is a glitch that creates a "prisoners dilemma" situation among fans. Both sides are assuming the other is "cheating" so they "cheat". It did turn a good thing into a display of the ugly side of human nature.

Yeah, the lady berating Karen Hoiberg and posting pictures of sick kids as a sympathy ploy was not a high point in charity fundraising, by any means.

Anyone else think that we will really lose steam in this once everyone is down in KC?

We're going to have to vote like we did a few nights ago more often, (nightly) or we may not win this.

[h=1]THANKS FOR VOTING![/h]
Fred Hoiberg is currently ranked 1st.
Make sure to come back every day to cast your vote!

Seriously? This isn't an argument about which charity is better. 30% of the people that die in the world die from cardiovascular disease. That's a lot of people. About 1,000,000 kids per year are born with a heart defect and about 10% of those don't even live 1 year - and many many more don't make it to adulthood.

That's the great thing about charity - when you donate your own money you get to choose the place that connects with you best.

But this is a contest put on by big sponsors and big business and I believe we have the best fans and I want to win! They created a competition among fanbases and the idiots who programmed the website didn't do it right. Credit to our fans for figuring out how Painter always got ahead at night.

I agree no charity is better than others, and no one should feel bad about voting for whoever they want. However, the AHA has over a billion dollars in assets, while Painters charity appears to be a small charity that 100,000 could make or break. There is probably a group over there voting a little more fanatically because it means more to them than showing who has the best fan base.

You guys are taking this way to seriously. Wow.

You should see some of the Twitter arguments. The worst part about it is that they aren't even between ISU fans and Purdue fans. They are between ISU fans and people affected by the disease that Painter's charity assists. And since that disease impacts children, the people arguing are parents of children with that disease. It really had sucked all the fun out of what was supposed to be a light-hearted competition to support charity.
