Good for Taggart, he has matured both physically and mentally like almost every other player does from his freshman to his junior year (no matter who the coach is). He obviously didn't want to play for GMac and it's worked out great for him. If I have to continue to stay home during the post season, I can at least cheer for former Clones that continue to play in the post season at other universities.

Brackins and Taggart would had been a terrific backcourt.

Yeah, I don't know what the hell some of these people are thinking. Screw em for leaving, but we could definitely use him. He's doing pretty well at Memphis, would have been a great backcourt with him and Brackins.

I think you and some other posters mean "front court". Not trying to be a jerk...just trying to help :smile:

Agree that we could have used him. He's a huge upgrade from what we have.

I do think that people don't realize how sick ST was when he was at ISU. For being stick thin to start, losing all that weight and missing practice certainly didnt help him.

Agree on that...it had a very big negative impact on his game...what upset me was the fact that after he came back from being sick, he regressed significantly throughout the season...his defense got worse, he developed no different post moves throughout the course of the season, and he went from being our #1 scoring threat in the post with a beautiful touch around the hoop, and a nice mid-range jumper, to hardly scoring at all...

That being said...If he wanted to transfer back to ISU and play his senior year here in '10...I'd be just fine with that.

I know people get sick of hearing about former players that leave, but I thought this was a pretty good story.
