They don't get Kempt if he doesn't dump Park. And Kempt was 3rd string.

They don't get Purdy if he doesn't dump Noland. And Purdy was a freshman.

He wasn't worried about hurting anyone's feelings then, and ISU certainly did not go back to the Tiller days after those changes were made.

The defense lacks dudes in a major way.

When I think of the best big 12 teams: BYU, Utah, ASU, etc - and then I think about Linebackers or DL that we have that would start there.
Kooper Ebel LB, probably.
There would be exactly ZERO defensive lineman we have that would start for high end Big 12 D's.

We have to totally retool and develop more guys there.

Agreed.

But the defense hasn’t been the Major problem.

You don't think Orange would start for any high end Big 12 Ds? I would have to disagree.

Rocco has regressed and WRs are really bad. If there is one critique of mouser is to stop passing the ball. Like 20 pass attempts a game max. Go full Iowa at this point.

Against my better judgement I read this whole thread.
It should be obvious that we get through this year, see how things go for Penn State and LSU and follow their lead, as the goals are the same for us and them and we are nearly identical in every other aspect. Miami should do the same. There are enough candidates on this board alone to fill those vacancies. Would be a fun exercise to give a half dozen posters on here their own team and see how they fare. Those same posters are convinced they are better than what we have but don't even realize that if someone wins, the other team will lose.
I'm convinced that some on here would burn it to the ground if we ever won a natty and didn't repeat.

See what you did here? brought me down to your level

I’m fine with running more but it honestly doesn’t matter anymore. Basketball starts tomorrow evening and I couldn’t be more excited.

Numbers don’t lie, it’s a collective effort of in efficiency.

Is I have road tripped from Ames to SE Iowa and stopped at a few places, I’d like to know the Offensive Red Zone scoring percentage vs the Defensive scoring percentage.

Also, I know on the call in show, they highlighted how PUTRID the offense has been on 3rd down not only today…which is beyond putrid, but in the losing streak. The 3rd down futility is grotesque.

The offense doesn’t stay on the field enough to help the D.

That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

Change my mind.

Promoting from within the program when our offense was already not very innovative may have been a mistake

I don't think anyone this we win winning a Natty by any means your sans trolling I think their is a really a concerning considering what we have seen and the talent we claim that we have brought in and developed to be losing the way we are.

How do you know this?
 
Rocco has been off (obviously we all know this) but there are definitely questionable play calls being made.....and why on earth did we spike the ball late in the game? There was still around 40 seconds or so....wasted a down for no reason
