Missed OBVIOUS goaltend, missed tipped ball by Florida on that Houston 3, defenders CLEARLY fouling Roberts to deny him the ball with zero call from the ref standing RIGHT THERE!

Houston playing 5 on 8, they're going to face an uphill battle against these refs.

Can only review goaltends when called, but not uncalled ones. Its dumb.

Its also why refs usually err on the side of calling a goaltend and erase it if it wasn't one. So a big fuckup here.

NBA replay took a pretty huge jump forward past few years. They also eliminated the leg kick flop. That goaltend not being reviewable makes me feel like I’m watching a game from 1952.

One thing that bothers me is Clayton, Jr. has 0 points at the half, but the Gators are only down by 3. Something tells me, he might score in the 2nd half.

The one play the Florida goon fouled him for 5 solid seconds.

A very Houston-y half. Wish they were up more than 3 though. Florida looks all out of sorts but hit some tough threes.

I think Houston will grind them down most games the last 5 minutes are Houston's. They are what we were before the injuries this yr.

The leg kick flop drove me nuts! Until they corrected that, I would have ignored it if I was a ref. (Yeah I know that's not right either, but it was such a d*ck move )

Agreed. I think Houston is due for an offensive drought and Florida starts hitting shots. Hope I’m wrong, but Houston played a great half defensively and still only up 3.

1 Foul called on Florida in the first half. Missed goal tend. Stay tuned .

Meh. I’m just happy they aren’t calling the perimeter too tightly and letting Houston play their style. They didn’t get that opportunity with Duke in the first half.

Haliburton got called for it in win last night and I’m not sure he even did it, it was practically nothing. They really err on the side of calling fouls on floppers now. Far less flopping than cbb when a decade ago I’d say nba was clearly worse than cbb for flopping.

Unfortunately, for this game halftime is longer and the timeouts are longer, so I don't think Florida will feel the normal fatigue that comes with playing Houston.

I’m so glad they took the old charge call away. The ones where the guy clearly wasn’t in position but the refs would get all fired up to call a charge. So bad for the game. Everytime someone took it to the hoop they called a charge

Golden complaining about that, on replay he’s lucky they didn’t review for flagrant.
