Not to mention the student section is a big part of the atmosphere so let them act like the 12th man and enjoy the win with the team.

Flame away!
It wasn’t just students. I walked against traffic from my seat in the Endzone.
Well you can always request higher seats so you are at the top and you will be able to get out faster if it happens again.

Let the fans have some freaking fun! After last year, when they would only let 1500 or so into games, none at the bowl game. heck yes, storm the field. I have no problem with ISU storming the field, just like I had no problem with Iowa storming the field. This was one of the bigger wins in a very ugly football history.

It wasn't even that big of a storm, from what I saw on TV. Influx of students, didn't fill the field.

If you're young and itching to swarm, think of these factors.

1. Haven't had a "field-rush" type of win since maybe Texas '19? (pandemic attendance limit in '20).
2. UNI '21: Dud win
3. Iowa '21: Dud loss
4. KU '21: Blowout win. And it's Kansas.
5. OSU '21: Top-10 team, tight-game, emotional down the stretch.

That list is not a recipe for filing quietly out of the stadium.

The field storm was the release of frustration, anxiety, and joy all at the same time. The high expectations and deflating losses had taken a lot of the fun out of the season. Yesterday was a perfect fall Saturday, homecoming, sellout crowd, top 10 opponent, close intense game, and we pulled it out. It was as much relief as celebration. I think the crowd was happy to get back to the winning feeling of last season and know that we're still alive in the conference race. I was fine with the storm.
