I like facts. Facts, facts, facts. Down in my belly.
I agree. It's hard to argue with facts. It's quite easy to make random claims, but it doesn't make them true.

He won't, though, that's Minnesota's problem.Or just continue feeding AP/Taylor and watch them run for 75 yards in one play. Favre has NEVER had a rushing duo like this. He's played with some great backs, but not a fantastic duo that I can recall.
The key will be if Favre can change himself a bit to allow the system to work.
How about the 2003 packers?
Green: 1883 yds 15 TDs
Davenport: 420 yds 2 TDs
That's 144 yds and 3 TDs better than:
2008 Minnesota rushing statistics
Adrian Peterson 1760 yards 10 TDs
Chester Taylor 399 yards 4 TDs.
How do you like those facts? hmm?
That's perfectly fine. I was simply disproving that Bennet/Levens were the best backs that Favre ever played with.

I don't know, the year they won the superbowl, Dorsey Levins and Edgar Bennett were pretty much as good as you got when it came to rushing duos.
1996 Green Bay rushing statistics
Edgar Bennet 899 yards 2 TDs
Dorsey Levens 566 yards 5 TDs
2008 Minnesota rushing statistics
Adrian Peterson 1760 yards 10 TDs
Chester Taylor 399 yards 4 TDs.
That's 700 yards and 7 TDs difference.
In other words, it's not so much the rushing duo that's the difference, but the fact that AP is in the backfield that is the difference, considering both of Green Bay's backs in 1996 were better than Chester Taylor was last year. Let's just be perfectly clear on this one.
I think for the Vikings' sake it's a good thing that AP isn't gracing the cover of Madden this year...
1996 Brett Farve, 26 years old, eatting pain pills like skittles, no known injuries.
2009 Brett Farve, 39 years old, no pain pills, torn rotator cuff, possible cracked rib.
We should ignore these facts, right.
Did Favre complete any passes THROWN over 8 yards tonight?
Gotta admit Greybeard looked pretty good last night. His QB rating was 113 for the game. The chop block was stupid tho, he went in with his throwing shoulder, not to mention his "cracked" rib. BTW what do you do with him when you run the Wildcat? He's gonna snap like a twig out in the open field trying to block.
