    Several clips from war flicks.

Young men flying into battle; there's virtually no dialogue, just the evocative soundtracks.
    From "A Bridge Too Far":

    And from "Hamburger Hill":

The battle and the aftermath from "We Were Soldiers" (again, the soundtrack is what does it for me):

The full scene of this in a theater with a big ass screen and good sound for the music. :)

IMHO this opening scene to Apocalypse Now is a freaking masterpiece with it's dream (nightmare) sequence with the Doors music and the sound and visuals of the helicopter blades juxtaposed with the ceiling fan and than back again with awakening to real time helicopter sounds to finish.

Desperado's opening scene with Steve Buscemi & Cheech Marin always makes me laugh.

I’ve always loved Notting Hill. One of my favorite lines from a movie is one simple word: “Indefinitely.” Which of course was setup by “I’m just a girl standing in front of a boy asking him to love her.”

A Bridge Too Far has a few of those scenes where there are only a few words and are absolutely spectacular.

    NSFW!!
...unless you work in a nudie bar. Ok, now that I have that out of the way, I give you the interrogation scene from Basic Instinct. I love this movie in a so-terrible-it's-fun way. Sharon Stone was just the right actor for this role, imo. Difficult to imagine anyone else pulling off the character with such ease. This whole scene just worked, but not necessarily for the reason those familiar might automatically assume. o_O

(If this is too risque', mods can delete or I can remove it - I totally get that.)
