Can I actually have a bunch of favorite teams? I grew up in the heart of Braves country and every redneck in North Florida is a Braves fan so they were my number 1. We also always used to go down to Royals Spring Training at Boardwalk and Baseball, so they were my number 2. I also really liked watching the Cubs teams with Sandberg, Grace, etc. I lived in Houston when the Astros won the NL west with a rotation of Mike Scott, Nolan Ryan, etc so how could you not like them? Frank Viola and Vince Coleman both lived in our neighborhood at one time so I always followed them too. Then in college our center fielder's dad was the color commentator for Marlins games so we got to see alot of their games when they won the series... So, I guess my favorite teams would be the:
Nationals
Braves
Royals
Cubs
Astros
Twins
Cardinals
and Marlins

Does that work?

hey, great poll - only 1 team....

I'm a Reds fan first, Cards fan second.

Need I remind you that on this date last year the Orioles were up 2.5 on the Yankees, only to finish 25 behind as of October 1st. :wideeyed:

Red Sox fan first and then since I was in Chicago over the summer, am starting to follow the Cubs quite a bit more after watching quite a bit of their games at Wrigley.

I've been a Cubs fan since 1967 and a Red Sox fan since 1967 and an ISU fan since 1971. Lot of painful memories with a few good ones mixed in between the losses. Thank God for the Red Sox in recent years. There is hope.

Grew up a White Sox Fan. Loved 1 Dog, Black Jack, Frank Thomas & Ventura.

When I moved to K.C. though, I fell in love with Kauffman Stadium and I'd have to say my love for the Royals now rivals that of the White Sox.

Just sucks that they are in the same Division...

*sigh* As others have pointed out... there are some similarities between Baltimore and the Cyclones...
