What year was gameday there for the KU game? After that Mckay alley oop and 1, that place didnt quiet down.

Additionally, the most fun Ive had at a game was St. Johns last year. Handing a cocky, overrated undefeated team its first loss. I think there were 5 technical fouls in the first half IIRC

Alright boys and girls, it is time for another season of Hilton Magic.Tell us your favorite Hilton moments. I'll lead off
1. ISU vs. Missouri in the 80s Barry Steven's made it rain against Mizzou and cemented my ISU MBB fandom. Got in free from on a friend's tkt who had to study. I was poor and didn't have the $, after that saved enough to get season tkts.
2. The 20 point or so come back game against OU. From the outhouse to the penthouse in 20 minutes. Ears rang leaving that one.

No right or wrongs just your own favorite memories.

1. Comeback Win over Iowa when Gessel clanked the free throws at the end.
2. Hoiberg and Johnny coming out together against Michigan.
3. Win over Okie State Fizers junior year to seal the regular season conference championship.
4. Win over Buddy Hield #1 OU
5. Every home win against KU in last 20 years

2015 comeback vs OU takes the cake for me. I don’t think I’ve heard Hilton louder for a more consistent time than the second half of that game.

Texas last year is also up there. It felt like Hilton was truly “back” with that environment.

I gave up my OU tickets in 2015 to a buddy, ended up working some over time and listened to it on the radio. I believe it was the Hogue dunk to tie the game?, and I remember not being able to hear Jon and Eric. Absolutely electric. The dopamine from Musburgers "Mercy!" during the highlight clip is also amazing

Fizer over Mihm probably the loudest I have ever heard Hilton. Video quality does not do it justice just how nuts Hilton went. That was pretty much the "we're for real" moment that season. The Iowa game that season too was pretty loud, we went up 13-0 to start the game before Iowa finally called a timeout and Mike Nurse had his hands over his ears it was so loud.

Would say hosting College Gameday is right up there in cool moments too.

Fizer/Mihm was mine too....and with time, it continues to sink in how cool it was to witness/feel/experience.

It was the Okie State Fred hoiberg game. Then my son started being a ball boy and him rebounds for Georges Niang on his recruiting visit is now one of my best memories. Lafester game as well

It's funny how many times that's come out in this thread. It wasn't a particularly tight game, but it had been a fun one (I believe we were running a ranked Baylor squad), and the second that happened, everyone in the gym knew they saw something unique, special, and unforgettable.

It's a damn shame Scotty isn't doing the ESPN+ games again.

Pretty sure Baylor was ahead in that one with 2 min to go and we then pulled away. Baylor 2012 was a tight game.

I was at that game, and it was absolutely wild in person. In that video, you can actually see people in the student section falling over after that play. I was in that throng and it was nuts.

Some others;
-TTU and Bobby Knight in 2004-2005. That was when that Morgan tourney team was at their peak and they had a ferocious rally out of an early deficit that ended up being a complete rout. It was a Saturday afternoon game and Hilton was full throttle and well lubed. Bobby Knight was not in a good mood.

-The Haluska game in 2005. That season might not have mattered, but my god was that game absolutely peak Hilton.

-2012 Scotty hits the buzzer beater against the Pokes and then climbs onto the scorer's table pumping up the crowd. That was a "Hilton might actually be back" type of moment.

-Scotty kissing the floor against Baylor that same year.

Damn the Haluska game was in 05, you are right the crowd was off the chain that night between Haluska and Pierre Pierce we had plenty of heckling to do. Everything from you can keep him to you're a rapist rang from the rafters that night.

Why am I remembering sealing the conference regular season with the win on the road at Baylor? Team wanted to cut down the nets but Baylor nixed the request. I can't blame them, honestly.
