Favorite Golf Courses (DM Metro)

Not going to be open this year? Damn, thought it might be?
Guess I will have to Albaugh's private course there across the street instead...
It's tough driving 1.5 hours round trip to play a round of golf, though.
TCI or Blue Top Ridge would also like to have a word with you.
The one thing I never really liked about Veenker is it seems like too much target golf. Too many par fours that you take 9 iron off the tee only to approach with a 5-6 iron. You rarely just get to let a driver rip at Veenker...
I worked at Beaver Creek the last two summers. The entire management is full of dbags.
Blank is the best for your money. Challenge for mid-handicapper, but at the same time you're not losing balls and getting frustrated...just not scoring well. If you want to relax, have fun/drinks yet be challenged and play a well-kept course this would be a great choice. I rotate through all the public courses but this is easily my no. 1 choice. I get more frustrated at Waveland and don't ever see a cart girl.
Terrace is probably the best of the lower end (willow, toad, woodland hills, grandview) but I enjoy all of them. Watch out for willow, tends to be expensive for the quality or lack of.
Jester has all the same traits as Blank, but they don't sell liquor so I give the edge to Blank.

Anyone notice Beaver getting worse the past couple years? Especially the tee boxes.
