I've watched it all and it never fails to disappoint. It's incredibly smart of them to release this right before the season, because I was meh about this year after the absolute RB blowout last year, but I'm just really excited to see how the new drivers do, I'm excited to see if Ferrari can make strides, and I hope we have a great 3 team race at the top. As a documentary I see why F1 fans don't like it, but as a casual fan I can't overstate how much more interested in F1 it makes me.

Toto put it the best when they were asking him if he thought it was a documentary and he said, it's not a documentary, it's Top Gun. And he's 100% right, and I 100% love it.

This season was awesome. I kind of felt bad for Otmar as I think he's a pretty good dude that forgot the business he's in. It'll be fun to see how the Gasly/Piastri deal works out with those teams likely being super competitive for that 4th spot.

I'm a Haas guy mostly because I love Guenther. The dude is an electric factory on the mic. Can't wait to watch Hulkenberg and Magnusson create Chaos out there. I also need a little more Lawrence Stroll in these things. Particularly, I'd like to know how many people he's had killed and if it's more or less than Toto had back in his hitman days. The top 3 will be the top three but that midfield battle is going to be wide open which is what is so great about F1. We barely care who wins races.

Still don’t know what that is. Lol.

Not a huge gamer by any means but primarily play Forza 5 and F1 on Xbox with a little bit of stuff like fall guys and rocket league with my 10 year old.

I like F1 better with the steering wheel setup and Forza better on the controller. I have 2021 and think, overall, it’s a pretty fun game. Worth the purchase if you like F1 and racing games.

I have not played the new F1 Manager game so I can’t comment on that one.

I was talking about a good game to play while you’re listening to a podcast.
I occasionally play the tony stewart sprint car game while listening. the F1 game always took took much brain power to actually listen to podcasts and play at the same time.

I really don't see why F1 fans don't like it. It's awesome to see the behind the scenes stuff on anything. I think real fans of the sport would love it. I loved the Nascar one as well and I am not a Nascar guy. I want to see one on Indy cars.

Some of it is cool behind the scenes stuff, but some of it is also manufactured drama with creative editing. It's super good at building hype though, it just goes a bit over the top in the past.

Yeah, a lot of the F1 fans dislike of the series is the manufactured drama. I saw a Lando Norris clip from youtube, where he reacts to Drive to Survive and he commented a couple of times, "Those two clips weren't from the same race and I didn't even say that to him." They were basically manufacturing drama between Lando and Daniel. I get it though, that's what the mass viewer wants to see. I'm sure the general public, who've picked up on the series, really don't care what it takes to get the car set up and tuned in for the race.

Gotcha. The beginner settings are brainless and would be good but you can make it as advanced as you want. Advanced races, especially with a wheel and shifting, are probably a no go.

If you’re into F1, the F1 manager game might be a good option. It’s heavily discounted on the Xbox store right now.
