By the time they touched Hamilton was ahead and had the inside line. It was time for Checo to back off. Hamilton backed off for Max last week in turn 1.

I think Check just knows he's racing for his seat now and has to really push hard.

No offense to NDV but Danny Ric is showing that car had way more in it than what NDV was getting out of it. Plus, it’s way more marketable for Alphataurie. They made the correct decision

That’s just not how that works, just because Hamilton was or wasn’t ahead doesn’t excuse him understeering into another car.

It looks worse when they pick up all the loose pieces of rubber from their cooldown lap when they aren’t on the racing line.
