I know we have a bunch of guys sick on the team right now and the bugs running its course but Evan has missed the Stanford, ASU, oklahoma, okie state, west Virginia and now UNI. I think this is more than just a sickness. I think its pretty hard to get sick 3 times in 4 weeks. Seems more like a weight thing to me

Stanford and ASU were a weight thing. Oklahoma and Oklahoma State were a bad sickness. WVU and UNI were a combo of still recovering and getting his weight back down. He’ll be back vs Mizzou and was close to going last night
Almost felt sorry for their heavy last night. Hopefully we’re at full strength for Missouri.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Paniro or Jacob bump to 157 next year, but who knows what the portal will bring
Sounds like he'll definitely get a medical RS for another year. He could fight for a spot here or be a quality transfer for another team but I think he loves it in Ames.
If Anthony takes his final year (I assume he will), there will still be a logjam from 41-49. Can Jacob go to 57? I think Paniro could go 57. Does Evan jump to 49? Probably time for a 26-27 Lineup thread.
I imagine Evan on full feed for the first time in years would be a very happy wrestler!
I could see a world where evan jumps to 149 and Jacob to 157. Those frost boys seem to carry extra weight really well. So

jersey robb and brayden thompson would fit like a glove and yeah if you can get garvin you get him. euton was also about 2 seconds from beating number 6 last night so im not ready to call it until i see a postseason out of him

Based on this year, I feel like JF would be better at 141. He’s not as dominant on top at 149. I can’t recall him getting back points on anyone the last 2 months and last year he was a turning machine.
Chris Perry coached and recruited Brayden Thompson at Okie State too. Haven't heard if we will go after him or not, but there is a previous relationship there
Much more likely Jacob goes 157 vs back down to 141. Ech has another year and Jacob bulked up quite a bit.

Really need to look for transfers at 184 and 197 to bring in competition. Bartelt and Naak have both had major injury issues in their careers and haven't proven much at the D1 level yet. Carter has had some solid matches, but would love to bring in a top guy at the weight. If Garvin decides he wants to wrestle closer to home after getting the Stanford degree, I would take him in a heart beat. However, I also like Euton or Riggins at 165 and they both are hard workers. 133 is another area where a transfer might make sense. Other than that, I like where the lineup potential is at for next year
