I actually find most of this England squad pretty likable, but I’m having a hard time getting myself to the point of actually cheering for them. The incessant “It’s coming home” crap and the British media hype really make me want to see them crash and burn just for the entertainment value.

I’d be surprised if they win, Italy looked pretty good in the knockouts.

I'm half Italian, but for whatever reason England is my European team. My dead grandfather is rolling over in his grave. But hey - Argentina did win today (he was full-blooded Italian but born in Argentina).

Sometimes when you sit in and defend a lead and concede control the game to the other side, it can be difficult to get that momentum turned around. It will be interesting to see if England can get back in this.
