ESPN+ issues

I’ve been able to watch the sisters play all season on ESPN plus with no problems. I had to leave the tournament to come home early, and so have been trying to watch the big 12 games on this service. Last night it kept giving me messages that I had to pay for an upgraded service to watch ESPN plus. Today it’s giving me a message that it’s been blacked out in my area (Iowa). Anyone else having issues? I have my subscription as a package with Disney and Hulu.

I rarely watch on the actually ESPN app. I usually always just watch through Hulu.

When I do go to the App, its usually been long enough that I have to re-log in either with my account or through Hulu account link up.

I know on occasion when I watch on my computer while watching something else on Hulu, it also can be a bit glitchy at times, not seeing my linked/log in account. But usually I just have to re-log in and it works.

I would say just make sure your account is up to date, the app is up to date, and you are logged in or linked to your hulu or whatever account you are subbed through.

Edit: also to add the only thing I ever have had black out messages from is for Hockey and baseball with their ridiculous blackout rules for Iowa. Because apparently they dont want any fans for those sports in Iowa. They sure dont want anyone to discover those sports here in Iowa, and maybe actually start being a fan.

It’s very weird as I can watch some espn plus content, but any big 12 tourney action it says it’s either blacked out or requires a higher subscription level.

I have not had any issues and have watched all the games so far.
