Egg Bowl

Did Texas and A&M used to play on Thanksgiving? ... Seems like another rivalry was on T-giving, too (was it OU vs. NU, or was that a Friday-after thing?)

Texas-aTm used to play on thanksgiving back in the 1960's then went to a friday game ...It was usually played at night...esp towards the end of the rivalry...and of course the Horns won the last game ....it was played at Kyle Field...

It was a great celebration, but that was probably the easiest unsportsmanlike flag that ref will likely ever throw.

Meh. Didn’t get the whole team together for it, didn’t involve the crowd, didn’t take a long time causing a delay, didn’t purposely seek out the logo to do it on. Refs are just fun haters.

Didn’t have to to meet the definition of unsportsmanlike. Any delayed, excessive, prolonged or choreographed act by which a player (or players) attempts to focus attention upon himself (or themselves) is what the rule says. To be clear think it’s dumb that the rule exists, but it was an obvious flag.
