This event was inspiring me to do a thread about SNL and how many still tune in. I feel they have a solid core of performers but overall their sketches for the most part leave more to be desired. Their political cold opens hit for the most part.

I skip the political opens since I have no clue who they are all lampooning (0 interest in politics anymore) but there are usually a couple of funny skits out 7 or 8 per episode..

We’ve watched this one from last season (?) several times, instant classic!

This is must see TV to me. I bet they have a lot of old cast members from his time on tonight as well. Maybe planted in the audience during the opening monologue.

Lizzo is the musical gust which is rad too.

Nice monologue. Eddie clowning Cosby was great. Hell of a trio on standup in Chappelle, Murphy and Rock.

The Macy’s spoof last week was great.

God the part about boots was too true. I broke a sweat at Thanksgiving trying to force the goddamn boots on my toddler's feet. ******* daycare said "they fit just fine" they are straight up lying and sending him outside barefoot I bet
