I would like to see Jacobson and another post play at the same time but he had the opportunity to try that this season and necver did once

I swear some of you would rather have 5 more losses if it meant playing 2 bigs.

I think there's more of a possibility of it next year. But who would you proposing sitting for extended minutes if you had done it this year?

Now that I'm looking at our possible roster next year.... we're going to need Jackson to come in and play quite a bit right away IMO. We are going to be really lacking shooters once again, which I absolutely hate, and Jackson might have to step in and be that person.

It would change game to game, but THT, Babb, and Haliburton would all lose some time.

If Solo, Lard, Jacobson, and Conditt are all on the roster next year and we don't start 2 bigs I will officially lose all confidence in this coaching staff.

Splitting up 40 minutes between those 4 while we run 4 guards out there to get abused on the boards and against bigger, slower teams will be my breaking point.

I mean, you've already lost all confidence, right? So sad about your Wildcats yesterday. Way more embarrassing than Iowa State's loss.

Unpopular opinion incoming. Turn back now if you don't like unpopular opinions. Or dislike it... IDGAF.

THT isn't a good team player, and doesn't fit well within the typical unselfishness of Iowa State basketball. If he isn't going to play as a piece of the offense instead of trying to be the offense everytime the ball touches his hands, I hope he gets drafted this year.

I think this is a little unfair. I don't get anything from him that makes it seem like he is selfish on purpose. I think, more than anything, he probably is used to being the one to make things happen and reverts back to that.

Gonna be a lot of moving pieces which will
make for an interesting offseason. At this point, I would take a NCAA tourney berth in a heartbeat. I’m not one of those “everybody will improve!” crazy people but I do expect a couple of this year’s freshmen to take big steps forward. Supplement any losses with a grad transfer guard or two like OU did this past year and I think we’ll be fine.

I think incorporating that to the offense in the middle of conference season is much more difficult than it would be in the off season. By the time that Lard was back healthy and Conditt started showing his abilities, there just isn't time to completely revamp the offense.

Assuming Prohm sticks around, I'd like to see him bring in an assistant to specialize in post player skills.

I’d think he could flourish and be a better passer without Shayok, Babb, and Wigginton having the ball so much. And playing more up top rather than from the corner. I’d think being a playmaker out of the corner would be kind of hard.

If all are back that are eligible and they can reach a place where they buy into the concept of playing for the rest of the guys it could be a nice team.

If not it could be rebuilding/starting overish or just more of the same stuff from games like last night.

Does anyone know if prohm played 2 bigs together at Murray? I didn't pay attention to if he did or didn't.

I'm just hoping next year's opposing coaches scouting reports say 'Perimeter players will drive and shoot, or kick to open players. All five starters are a threat to shoot the ball'.

I don’t watch the NBA, so no idea what kind of players they like. So please tellme why anyone woukd want THT? He may have a future in the league, but there have to be far better options this point in his career.

IT DOES NOT MATTER WHAT WE THINK. It matters what the experts think. Many experts have him being drafted right now. It's best not to try to figure it out, it just is. The second thing that matters, is what THT thinks. If he thinks he is an NBA player, he'll go.

Do these guys seek good advice, or just blindly follow their illusions? Because there are tons of good ballers just scraping by. Sports equivalent of starving artists.

It doesn't really matter though, does it? No one thinks they are going to fail.
