The transfer class wasn't included in the game initially. Guessing it's a placeholder for Eli GreenJust got the game. Who the hell is Alphonso Drummond, and why is he the #5 WR for Iowa State?

I did a 2nd dynasty and end up saving a bunch of my points for the one that unlocks with 5 playoff wins and then im going to save for the 2 champ one. That's something I hope they change, 50 levels isn't really that much with all the different abilities and the unlock reqs for some being so high. I'm just now unlocking a lot of the second level abilities and I'm at level 30.
I like Arizona's, lots of deep passes and a little more variety in the run game. It’s shocking how awful the ISU playbook is in this game. Has anyone found a decent substitute?
You just have to get comfortable with your playbook, get familiar with the settings and navigating playbook between plays. I started out that way but am now able to beat decent/good teams on All-American. I'm still throwing many picks and struggling a bit on D, but my offense has gotten way better. I use a lot of crossing routes, seems like it's easy to see when those guys are open in space.I've just been doing the exhibition games to get a feel for things. And I'm having a lot of trouble. I win most games on freshman like 48-0 and when I go to varsity I'm losing like 59-14 or something like that every time. I throw 6-7 pics a game and my defense can't stop anything (playing against G5 teams as ISU)
Does anyone have any general advice? Because at this point I am completely lost with how to complete passes or play defense. It's so easy on freshman, but on varsity I am just totally unable to do anything.
Part of the problem is probably that I've never played a Madden or NCAA game in my life, and I also am pretty bad with Xs and Os stuff. So, its hard for me even to really know what I'm doing wrong. I’ve found a few plays that work and basically just run similar looking plays from different formations. I mostly pick plays by player now instead of by formation. You just have to get comfortable with your playbook, get familiar with the settings and navigating playbook between plays. Lol, ok, well I've been playing football video games since the days of Intellivision and am not that far ahead of you so I'd say you're doing ok.Part of the problem is probably that I've never played a Madden or NCAA game in my life, and I also am pretty bad with Xs and Os stuff. Zone defense, try to match your defense with how many WRs they have. If you’re throwing too many picks just stick with short routes and crossersI've just been doing the exhibition games to get a feel for things. And I'm having a lot of trouble. I run the punt return that is called like safe or something that only rushes 4Does anyone have an easy solution for stopping Malik Verdon from getting at least one roughing the punter penalty per game?

I pull back the outside two guys on the line before the snap. Eliminates these penalties and helps set up the return.Does anyone have an easy solution for stopping Malik Verdon from getting at least one roughing the punter penalty per game?
I was in the same boat when the game came out on varsity vs AA. I'm to the point now that I win the majority of games on AA except for when I go up against the real powerhouses.
