Dual this week (WVU Friday 2/2)

Dresser press conf of 1/30/24 is posted at this site if you haven't seen it.

He didn't say anything about 184 but I see Naak is listed along with Feldman in weekly notes for WVU dual. Dresser sounded positive if not certain about Chittum's return.

No confidence in 125 or 197 no matter who it’s against.

141 is a scary match.

149 is going to be tight.

184 is an underdog without Feldkamp.

It’s going to be a tough hard fought dual. The score hopefully turns out lopsided, but getting there is not going to be easy

141- 149 - could decide the dual

141- titus vs ech has the potential to be just a electric matchup - both had tight match's vs Jamison
with titus coming out on top 4/2

149 waters vs casey - no less intriguing edge to casey after the way they both wrestled Alvarez

133 heavy favorite
141 toss up

157 heavy favorite with CC, slight favorite with Kraisser
165 favorite
174 slight underdog if Conley goes, favorite if not
184 underdog but i am excited to see Naak
197 toss up
285 heavy favorite

Those toss ups for sure could make it uncomfortably close. I’ll say we get a couple of them and win 24-10

Watching Titus last weekend, he gave up his legs a bunch to Edmond and Jamison but neither could finish. He is very stingy.

Waters mat wrestling is very good and Casey has the advantage on feet. Makes that match very intriguing.

The new redshirt rules have always been confusing to me, but I thought there was something about the 5 'free' matches were only for first semester. We wouldn't burn Naak's redshirt for this would we?

133- 3-3
141- 6-3 but it’s going to be close close
149- 9-3 see above
157- 12-3
165- 16-3 sends a message to 165’s everywhere
174- 16-6 if it’s WVU starter
184- 16-9 hopefully keep it to a regular decision

I’ll go full kool aid drinker and say we win 2 out of 3 of 125, 174, 197 :)

Pretty sure the rule is in place for the entire season. True freshmen can't compete unattached first semester I believe.

Yes, you can get into the concourse area prior to the main doors opening and pick up a giveaway item, at least it's been that way in the past.

do they send Schafer or Strickenberger out at 125 ?

seems Schafer has gotten the last few starts but Jett is still listed as starter
