I guess when you listen to an ISU broadcast though, they don't actively cheer for ISU during the game, use "we", blame the refs on literally every play, and consistently mispronounce the other team's player's names. When you listen to an ISU game you'll hear a few comments about the refs if its bad but it isn't 4 year old bickering the whole game. I thought Cotlar was fine, but Dolph was way over the top.
I've listened to a lot of announcers in my life, opposing and for my own team. I will agree. The guy is by far the worst announcer I've ever heard. Usually I don't even care to talk about bias either, but my god..here I am.
It's funny because the guy played basketball, but so many times he was calling things that didn't happen. One time in particular ISU was bringing the ball up and passed it before a 3 and he said it was a travel, when it was nowhere near a travel.
The guy is horrid. Easily the worst announcer I've heard in my life in any sport for any team.
Kind of reminds me of a couple of Cyclone radio guys who always complain about the officiating, like they did tonight as well....

I'd be willing to bet $1000 of my own real money that Emmenecker was not worse than Dolph. Trust me dude. I have heard a lot of guys on the radio before and this guy was BY FAR THE WORST and MOST BIASED person I have EVER heard for ANYTHING.
Absolutely ******* ridiculous. As someone else pointed out, the announcing ****** me off more than the game. No joke. I'm not even worried about our team, but the Dolph guy was so bad I'm still ******* angry about it.
Emmenecker blathering a constant stream of such wisdom as you shouldn't foul on a 3 pt attempt, or don't foul late in the shot clock, was the reason I had to watch the game with the sound off.
Disagree. Every teams home radio announcers are homers. That's okay.

Nope, not even close. Don't even compare Walters to Dolph. I don't know if you listened to Drake's announcers or not, but it is way over the top.
Would have loved to, but the radio broadcast was about 1 minute ahead of clone zone.
To anybody that hasn't heard a Drake radio broadcast before, I suggest that you tune in for at least bit in the future. To say that Dolph is the worst piece of **** announcer this world has ever seen is unfathomably kind. It was laughably horrendous. I didn't hear Emmenecker, but there is just absolutely no chance in hell that he was worse.

Are you sure you weren't describing Emmenecker. We are over looking something though, how can one school, during the same game, on two different broadcasts, have the two worst broadcasters in history?
Anyone who listened to Dolph and Cotman knows this was the cake.
My son and I counted 7 times Dolph complained about Scotty palming the ball in the 2nd half alone.
5 times he said the refs are not watching the same game as us.
It was so bad I muted.

I thought it was funny how they were "shocked" that the ISU fans were walking out when we got down by 7 with 22 seconds left because the game wasn't over, but when Drake got up by 9 with 16 seconds left then the game was now over.
This idiot doesn't even compare to someone like Gary Dolphin, much less Walters. And Gary Dolphin is pretty bad at being extremely homerish. I'd MUCH rather listen to Gary Dolphin than this Pulliam d-bag anyday.
Unless Emmenecker is a big African American guy, then yes, I'm 1,000,000% sure it was not Adam Emmenecker.
I was watching Clone Zone, which had a radio broadcast from 1350 KNRT AM which does basketball games with Larry Cotlar (who was 75% okay, but still a homer 25% of the time) and Dolph "All I do is complain about **** I don't know about" Pulliam.

Cotlar will be simply insufferable tomorrow during their radio show.....if anyone here actually listens to that show. Glad I don't.
Still the best ever was when he had his old show, and Mark Phelps had just been hired....he was interviewing Rick freaking Pitino and he asked Pitino what he thought about the hire. Pitino just said something like "I don't know who that is." Classic Cotlar.
