The United Way of Story County gives running cars in decent condition to people in need, I believe.

Did this several years ago. Make sure you get all right paperwork if you’re using it as a tax write off but I think the rules around this changed since I did it. It was pre-Trump.

I did a local charity that took them and fixed them back to running order to give to single moms in rough life spots. Or if the cars are too damaged they salvaged them and took the money for their organization.

We did ours with the American Cancer Society. Simple and easy. Did all the paperwork on line.
