That's one reason why I wish we had Dvr or Tivo. I could program it to record anything Dr Who....and maybe get some of the old stuff. I'm not sure IA PBS is running the old stuff anymore though. And I can't stay up till midnight Saturday nights any more to find out.
I think my brother said IA was one of the last states to still rerun it.....but that was years ago.

I've only watched Doctor Who via the internet... never actually caught it on the tele
Those are the new episodes though... never seen the old ones. It's on the eventual to do list
yeah its still on at night..
Classic Doctor Who hasn't been on IPTV since March, at least according to IPTV's website. That's a shame, because I watched a lot of those old episodes when I was a high school/college outcast. Now I just watch the new series as an adult outcast.
A lot of the classic series episodes are available from Netflix, many of them through their instant watching feature. All four seasons of the new series are available on DVD in the US but are really expensive to buy. Torchwood too. The new miniseries is available on BluRay--haven't seen how much it costs.
Doctor Who and its spinoff Torchwood are two of my favorite shows on TV. Did anybody catch the Torchwood miniseries on BBC America last week?
I figured this thread would be about Guinness World Records naming Doctor Who the most successful sci-fi series of all times, which I think is a travesty.
'Doctor Who' named 'most successful sci-fi series' by Guinness: Suck it, 'Star Trek' | EW.com
How debatable that is aside, why the hell is Guinness trying to name subjective World Records?
An attempt to set up the stupidest basis for a world record?![]()
