Trolling is fine (lame, but fine) on message boards and local talk radio. It's a cheap move for him to carry his tavern hok hatred of ISU into national broadcasts as he's done numerous times. His tweets have become almost entirely devoted to talking about Iowa State.

It's the Hayden Fry playbook. Go out of your way to make an example out of ISU.
He's trying to do his small part to address the real fear him and all TOE fans have. They are worried that Matt Campbell wants to make Iowa State his program and that he will be here for the next 25 years.
Honestly these are college kids, so who cares. I’m taking each season game by game.
If ISU goes 15-0 and wins the national championship, which is very doubtful, I could see CMC leaving, maybe. I could also see him telling the team and fans that we need to prove it by doing it again and again. I think he wants to make ISU a perennial power. I could be wrong. But if he wins it here, recruiting will be much better and each year of consistently being in the top of the conference and talked about in the playoffs will only improve that. I could see him being a more successful Bill Snyder. I actually think he will not consider leaving until he feels he is not as successful as he thinks he should have been. But that is my opinion and it is worth the few seconds it took to type.

KXNO was fantastic two years ago when the team won 4 straight games with Kempt including the 2 big upsets. The amount of Hoks calling in butthurt over the attention ISU was receiving was comical.
What do we pay Campbell? 3.6-3.8 million per plus a good amount for assistants. That alone will get JP into a lot of rooms with potential replacements that weren’t possible before. We are willing to pay a coach because we can. We have proven it.
I don't think he will get much more than that unless Ohio State comes calling or something
I agree but if he does leave I think there will be a lot of interest with our facilities and what we would be willing to pay. Also he will likely get a raise with another good season
