I’m meh on Dejulius unless we add some other good players to go along with him. He’s not good enough to chance the direction of the program by himself. Him needing a waiver also keeps my excitement a little down. I just see him as being a solid pickup but not a game changer.

For those who are interested here a highlight video of David DeJulius to get familiar with what he would bring. I see some Bolton skills with a better handle and feel for passing. His quick release and range is good also. I could really see him excelling under Prohm and ISU would fun back court to breath some life into Hilton.

I’m just not that excited about our best addition being a guy that can’t even play right away. Would be a different story if it was a Carton level player but I don’t think Dejulius is that. We will see. If we land him, I hope I’m wrong. I see Dejulius as being a good start but there will be a lot more work needed to be done if we want to win next year or in 2021-21.
