We really need to just stay on standard time. I’d so much rather it be light out right now so it was easier to get up. It isn’t like there wouldn’t be enough light at night still during the summer. Currently it is almost 10 before it really gets dark for some of the summer.

Maybe the better solution is just use GMT across the nation and drop this notion that work days are 8-5. Everyone is on the same time zone and adjust your work hours for when the sun's up in your area of the country.

That would be awful when you travel west. At least you know around 7 in the morning it would be getting light, then you would be looking at noon for a sunrise or so. It would really mess with you.

We rented, didn't buy... wish would have bought... best device ever- works like a charm. Not sure how were ever going to stop using.

I think a lot of the whole standard/daylight savings time argument comes down to which end of a time zone you live in. That makes about as much difference as having or not having daylight savings time in the first place.

I can see how people on the western edges of time zones aren't thrilled about permanent DST but they'll get used to it and be fine.
